Page 05. --- In the Court of Sessions yesterday, Joseph Turcotte pleaded not guilty to an alleged charge of stealing a case of gin the property of the Quebec Fruit and Preserving Company, and was remanded. Fines ranging from $50 to $800 and costs were imposed upon several men who were charged with breaches of the Scott Act. For violation of the Motor Vehicles Act two motorists were condemned to fines of ten dollars and costs each.
