it wasn’t their first fight, this was due to their stubborn attitude. neither did the one of them want to admit that they were wrong. no apologies, no guilt, they swallowed their pride whole. hyejung was the type to say things that came straight from her thoughts. so if there was a backlash, it’s because her comment was straightforward enough to hurt the person she was talking to. in this case, she hurt stella with the remarks she was making. saying how she didn’t do things such as others, stuff like that. their atmosphere had become tense, hyejung clenching her hands up into a balled fist. did she really just raise her voice at her? “if you want to keep that pretty face of yours, you better stop talking in that type of tone.”

hyejung was a verbal and physical fighter, the girl had such a big ego that she was basically swimming in it. “as if i hadn’t heard that line before.” she was used to it. tons of people said the same thing and once the fight was over, they’d leave. they wouldn’t come back, ever. the contact would be tied. she kept her fits balled, not talking while her teeth sink into her bottom lip. “go ahead, leave. that’s what everyone does. i don’t need you anyways. didn’t, ever.” the cruelest things would leave her lips, only adding onto the fire she created.

but the moment that the girl had stepped away, she lurched forward and wrapped her arms around her. hyejung’s jaw drops a little, an ‘o’ shape formed with her lips. she was surprised herself, what was she doing? the girl doesn’t let go, though. she keeps a somewhat tight-loose grip around the girl’s figure. drawing a sigh, they stand there in silence. it was awkward, alright. there were no words to be exchanged, what else would she have to say? stella, you are important. don’t go? no. it would just tear at her weaknesses even more, she didn’t need to be opened like a book any further.

“you’re right.” hyejung says, letting loose and then stepping back. arms folded across her chest she looks away, she could make her decision whether to leave or not.

“ahum, i’m a very young girl who likes to explore.” she shrugs her shoulder as if it was a casual response to whatever stella had just said. a pout appears on her lips when the word ‘boo’ slips out. “yuck. everytime you say that, you get less and less attractive.” she pretends to gag, her finger hovering in the middle of her open mouth, eyelids shut tightly before recollecting herself. she sits up, raising an eyebrow. “okay, in what world do i meet someone? they meet me. because that’s just how it works.” a smile on her lips, extending her arm to tug on her wrist while smirking. “aw, yeah. you can come over.” tilting her head, she keeps the smirk on her face. “seems like we didn’t finish what had happened last time.”

“...” no words could describe what hyejung was feeling. it was once. she was drunk. but then again, if she was drunk, how could she remember every moment of it? hyejung stumbled into stella’s arms, some incoherent mumbling. “kiss me.” and their lips collided. hyejung ended up pushing stella against the wall, the memory was as clear as broad daylight. they were on the side of the crowd, so no one was paying attention to them. hyejung clears her throat, looking over at the girl with soft eyes.

“stella. it was once. you can’t.. you can’t say i’m yours because of one kiss. i was drunk, i was needy. and i know there are sometimes i basically beg for your attention, but i am mine’s. mine only.”

It wasn’t my first attempt at all!” He haven’t even said anything and she was already acting defensive, she hated being seen as a weak person in front of somebody.

Pretending to ride a bike at its fullest, what could she have been thinking all a while? Leo keeps his eyes along the blood tracing the length of her arm, there’s no near hospital or even a clinic to press the wound together so it wouldn’t form a clot, so basically he couldn’t do much but to make sure that she’s alright, that the thought running over her clouded mind wouldn’t be diminished with this inevitable mistake. “Make sure to balance out the pedals, while you’re going forth, make it fast, that’s the trick.” He states, tugging his hanky from the back of his jeans so he can place it over her wounded arm after wiping the blood clean, they will have to step aside later, though, and to wash it off with clean water, distilled, if he may add. “Try it again.”
