Okay this is gonna be very embarassing but in all my 15 years of playing Morrowind I never really had a real character build? Like all my tiny kid self ever wanted to do was stab people with cool swords or smash them with a cool looking axe or something, I never gave a damn about the way my character works? And I still do it like that today, I know how to build one , but apparently I just like to make my life more difficult by picking a class and fighting style that don't fit together at all
That’s playing the hard way ! If it works for you then just roll with it, once you’re familiar with the game it’s way easier to play a less effective build. And since you’ve been playing for so long I have no doubt you do know the game :D
Not Morrowind but while I’m on the same topic of stupid builds, Daggerfall has the most unnecesarily detailed character creator in any TES game and it lets you go to incredible lengths into making a pointless character, my favorite example being this let’s player who made his character have all the linguistic skills in indiscriminate order yet complete the main quest
