Made Steampunk Jasmine shoes from Mecanique Fairy's fan art in her steampunk Disney series! How I made the shoes: I started out with some cheap sale shoes from the store Charlotte Russe. - I got brown craft foam, and cut it into a cone shape and cut it to fit the shoe. I also heated up the foam over the stove to get it to curve upwards. - I started to cover the craft foam with brown faux leather - And continued to cover the rest of the shoe with strips of fabric. I used high temperature hot glue sticks to do this. - I finished covering the shoe - I added trim to the edges to cover up and seal the raw seams on the fabric. - I added cupped sequins to the base of the bells to add extra sparkle and help the glue stick to the shoe since there's more surface area to stick the bells on. - Finished!!
