On the *Augustine bit*, the whole "no man is born without sin" bit means that to someone who has a very narrow contextless reading of the bible can justify anything bad happening to anyone as judgement for their sins, just like Bildad did in his Theodicy.

that’s basically just a long-winded way of saying “bad stuff can happen to anyone” which is the default null hypothesis! doesn’t need the concept of sin at all!

I watched To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before a couple nights ago. Not written in any revolutionary way but I liked how they played with the color palette and used sone fun camera techniques

I had about the same feeling. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t amazing, but it was a good, fun watch
