But Trump had several ties to Russia through business dealings and Russia ran #Facebook ads in Trump's favor before the 2016 election. Mueller couldn't prove a coordinated conspiracy (hard to do) but he found multiple unexplained connections to Russia and several instances of obstruction that Bill Barr refused to prosecute because he was a Trump loyalist. But, Barr eventually turned against Trump following the Jan. 6th insurrection and Trump's repeated false claims of election fraud.
