The first episode of JoyRide Entertainment's audio drama These Backwards Echoes is live, and it has one of the most eerie plots I've ever encountered. Humans decide make themselves go extinct in 2075. What led them to this decision? How did the creative class butt up against the STEM fields? It's FASCINATING.
It was my honor to voice Myra. She is a very different character than what you're used to hearing me voice, too. She's the sweet, gentle love interest with a big secret. I'm proud of myself for landing a role that's in my comfort zone but still not my typical, and honored that writer/director/producer Steena Carey gave me a chance.
I also loved working so closely with my dear friends Emeri Chase and Ginger Sue in the classroom scene. They're both incredible performers who give their scene partners so many gifts to unwrap. Sharing space with them is a privilege.
