I 100% agree. Theyre trying to get everyone who LEGALLY owns a handgun in my area to publish what they own in the news paper. It is incredibly absurd.

Publishing names of handgun owners would have absolutely no benefit to people! That is the dumbest thing I have heard. It would just show the public that so many more people own guns that everyone thinks. I know for one my family started investing in guns for protection when our house was broken into two years ago. Even then I don't want my friends and acquaintances knowing that there is a gun in the house, due to the fact they they might do something dumb.
