HI HI!! i'm a huge linctavia fan and i'm actually quite happy octavia killed pike -- i think it proves how much she loves lincoln even more that even after everything, she can't forgive him for murdering her soulmate. & with regards to the whole "lincoln would be disappointed" tbh i think that octavia would've rather died than be saved by pike and have him living. she prob was angered even more at the fact that he thought saving her would get him off the hook. ;_; my heart misses my bbs so much

It’s one of those things where it’s not that she ‘can’t live without him’ it’s that I honestly don’t think she wants to. It really breaks my heart, they were each other’s worlds, as if she wouldn’t kill the man that took that away from them.

You're so right about how Stefan has so many emotional ties! I don't know, I'm a hard core Stelena shipper and I so desperately want to believe that there is something about that line that he said but he was pretty much running out of time. He's not going to just be like "ok hold on, I need to call Damon first" and go through that... Obviously this line does potentially open up something for SE but you are absolutely right how it's weak proof. I for one, don't want to get my hopes up so quickly.

And I don’t mind people holding on to that hope, necessarily. Hope is great! It’s so fun to get something new for the SE fandom to chew on. Obviously, I don’t ship Stelena anymore (I don’t think Elena deserves him), but I remember when SE was first falling apart, I dissected each little thing to prove she was going to choose Stefan in the end, even if I had a feeling it was gonna be Damon. So I definitely understand. 

But I don’t like when people get smug and mean about it. When they laugh at anyone who “doesn’t see” that is is proof SE is still on the table (especially if they tag it in the steroline tag). 

It becomes so frustrating because this really doesn’t mean very much. And to rub it in the face of the SC who is only just getting storylines of their own is so mean.
