Note #12; My life is a mess... but, it’s a hot mess...

Okay, so, hello little lovelies. So much as been going on in my life currently, though little of it has to do with my pagan / wiccan beliefs, so I don’t think I’ll bother you with all of that. Just know, that’s why I haven’t been spending much time working on my tumblr (at least, I feel like I haven’t been doing much, ya know?).

ANYWAYS, I’ve been spending the past week working on the hard copy version of my grimoire, making everything handwritten and pretty, and just trying to be a decent witch, when it comes to that kind of stuff. And while I was working on it, I was thinking of creating an actual pagan / wiccan blog via blogster / blogspot (did I just date myself there? I think I did). If you want to check it out, here’s the link, but there is NOTHING on it right now (aside from maybe an introductory post that I may or may not post soon)...

I guess this is just me, reaching out to my fellow tumblr witches, asking for suggestions on things y’all would want to read? I have some ideas on things that I want to talk about, but I am really curious if there are things that people would want to read?

Okay, so, this is for DAY 3 of the 28 Day Witchy Challenge, by cait-the-witch 

(PS, I thought I put this in the queue, but it ended up in drafts. So, let’s pretend this was posted a while ago...)

🔮DAY 3 - BUY SOMETHING WITCHY! This challenge is all about self-care for you and your witchy self, so it can be as simple as spending a dollar at the dollar store or buying something elaborate online. If there is no way you can buy something, try to find something. For example, go to the woods/Park and try to find a mushroom for an offering.

Okay, so, I cheated a little bit, cause I bought this stuff yesterday, too. I realized that I needed a meditation journal, so I went to Book People (a local book store in Austin, TX), and I bought two journals, cause I couldn’t decide which one I wanted to have more (I ended up using the standard issue notebook for my meditation journal, but I’m gonna use the peacock one for something else witchy). I also bought a couple of things of incense, because I LOVE incense.

Okay, so, this is an aesthetics board for DAY 1 of the 28 Day Witchy Challenge, by cait-the-witch

🔮 DAY 1 - Take time out of your day to think about, write about, or draw what your witchy self looks like. What they are into. Their favorite witchy activity. Any details you can possibly think of.

So yeah, my little witch self has totally been describe as a “Pastel Goth” witch. pastel colored hair (pinks, purples, and blues mostly), black (or really dark) make-up, flow-y pastel shirts with black bottoms (shorts & pants, I’m not supper picky), and of course a black, big brimmed hat (totally hipster, but she doesn’t give a fuck), though if she’s not wearing her hat, she’s wearing her hair up in space buns. I’d have to say she absolutely loves Rose Quartz, and has a huge collection of them sitting on her altar. In relation to that, she’s not super into doing for herself, but love spells (especially self-love spells) for other people are totally her jam, cause she likes it when other people love themselves. Actually, she loves doing any type of spells for her friends (she’s super friend-oriented, can you tell?), because her friends deserve the best (after all, they put up with her, lol!). Also, she’s super into divination, tarot being her go to form - she really likes The Fountain Tarot Deck. And she’s really into stars... 

So, this is her... there’ probably more to her, but at this point, that’s all I can find. I might update this at some point.

Okay, so, I am in the workings of creating a few pock altars for myself - I’m currently working on 3; Aphrodite altar, Dionysus altar, & my water elemental altar. Dreaming of apples symbolizes prosperity and the good life.

 At Samhain, winning the game of bobbing for apples meant that you would be blessed by the Goddess for a year.

 If cut horizontally, the apple reveals the pentagram pattern, which is considered the gateway to occult powers as well as the symbol of the quintessence.
