I loved Steve's "For Eddie" line. Yes because of the steddie, but also because I feel like he was really doing it for Dustin. I think everything he did in the last 18 months was, in some way, for Dustin. Even if he was getting it wrong so much of the time.

Being there for Dustin after their talk means honoring his grief over Eddie with him. It means letting go his anger at both of them and fully acknowledging the injustice of his death and not just the ultimate futility and selfishness of his actions.

They're doing this for Eddie.
