🐰 You know, I love the in game logistics of some of the Heroes' abilities, and sometimes when I mention them to people, they think about it and realize how crazy they are.

🐰 Like, we all know DVa's Defense Matrix stops projectiles. But people forgot or don't know that the in game explanation for this is that her hands as a professional gamer are so quick, and her reflexes are so good, that she literally shoots projectiles out of the air.

🐰 You can see it too if you look at DVa's hands during Defense Matrix, because you can see her thumbs pressing the buttons on her handles while she's stopping projectiles.

🐰 And like, it doesn't have to be a normal bullet either. She literally shoots laser/light projectiles like the weapons Tracer, Mercy, Orisa, etc. have. DVa is literally so fast with her hands, she can stop light based projectiles. She's literally faster than the speed of light.

🐰 I don't know about you, but I think that's a pretty neat detail and explanation. :)

Hi, Wiz!

Unfortunately, I deleted my Artfight because I was really angry about a lot of things on the site, including their previous ruling that using 3D models and your own photographs as references or to trace over was cheating.

They were trying to categorize those methods with dollmakers and bases, and as someone who has disabled artist friends who use those methods, it felt incredibly ableist.

I also get burnt out with artfight every year and end up with no energy for personal projects, and I'd rather work on personal projects this year and beyond.

Thank you for checking on me though, Wiz, I really appreciate it! 🩷🩷🩷

🚀 Catch me crying and screaming over Juno's story after watching the story time comic with her voice actress again.

🚀 Juno literally went to Earth, knowing that her family's chances of survival without help are slim to none, went to Earth and away from the only family and home she's ever known, and she's doing it to save them. To save her home and the people who she loves.

🚀 Her family sent her, not just for possible help, since they knew that might not happen, but also so she could have a chance at life.

🚀 And Juno is scared. And she knows things are going to be tough without her family to guide her.

🚀 But she embodies the hope her family had when they started Project: Red Promise. She embodies their dreams for humanity. And she embodies the love they've given her.

🚀 Juno is scared, but her family went to Mars with a dream to help humanity. And she left her home with a dream of her own:

🚀 To save the only home she's ever known.

🚀 And, like, I deal with a lot of anxiety and fear in new situations, too. But sometimes, I think of how Juno is the same way. But she just remembers who she's continuing forward for and keeps going. And maybe, just maybe, thinking about how brave she is for that... makes me feel a little braver too.

☀️ Something I noticed in Overwatch!

☀️ Everyone is saying that the Sombra and Illari interaction about Sombra trying to gather info for Illari and feeling sympathy for her means that Illari is part of Talon.

☀️ I know a lot of people assumed it meant Illari is in Talon, but I remembered it says on the Overwatch website:

☀️ Meaning, in my mind, while Sombra works for Talon, she's basically using their resources for her own purposes and to reach her own goal. It's not like she's completely loyal to Talon, because she joined them after she had to wipe her identity as Olivia and they wanted her to join their ranks.

☀️ So who's to say she doesn't help others outside of Talon with her abilities and knowledge? Like Katya Volskaya in the original Infiltration short.

☀️ So, I don't think Illari is part of Talon, but Sombra might be trying to help her get info on something. Maybe she's trying to get info to see if maybe her ceremony for her solar threading was sabotaged in some way?

☀️ Even though Illari believes it was entirely her fault, Sombra might have convinced her she can see if it really was her fault? Maybe talked to her in a way that made it seem like it wasn't and she would find out whose fault it was? I mean, Sombra seems much more charismatic and charming than the fandom makes her out to be, in my mind. Not to mention how much power she holds over those in authority with her hacking and intel skills.

☀️ Those are my thoughts based on my research, but Sombra seems to have connections with a lot of the other Heroes, so she's definitely got her own agenda.

💚 I know I'll probably be burned at the Tumblr stake for this, but after seeing all the hate for the Minecraft movie here and in the Minecraft ask blog server I'm in, I'm no longer going to hold my tongue for where I stand on the movie and how cool and fun it looks to me. You don't have to read it, and while it is long, if you do read it, I appreciate you taking the time to.

💚 What has Minecraft always been? A sandbox game where anything and everything is possible. That's what Mojang has been trying to teach us in every update that gives us things like mobs, signs, candles; all the little things for settings, stories, characters, all of that. And that's how it should be. Because there's no set story, characters, and such little lore that's up for interpretation, Minecraft is whatever you want it to be. That's what mods are for too!

💚 Minecraft has always been a game where you use whatever you want in the game setting to tell a story, a tale, your own perception without it being restricted by canon lore, characters, etc.

💚 So, if it can be anything and everything all at once, why are people mad about this movie being a story being told using Minecraft as a setting where Minecraft can be anything and everything?

💚 I'm seeing a pattern here, because this is exactly how people felt about Minecraft: Story Mode too. Everyone I know hated the idea of a Minecraft story with actual characters and stuff and refused ti play it or acknowledge it. I've even seen the same with Minecraft Legends, Minecraft Dungeons, and pretty much anything that's not vanilla or modded Minecraft.

💚 But people forget that, at it's core, Minecraft is a storytelling tool that's also a sandbox game. Sandbox games are templates to tell tales of your own through what they give you, so why can't Mojang and the studio making the movie tell their own story that uses that too?

💚 People also complain about Jack Black being a white man playing Steve. Need I remind you how many people who are popular artists have a white Steve? And need I remind you Steve can be changed to whatever you want him to look like because of Minecraft skins being able to be changed?

💚 Why do people forget that the default skins can be anything and everything you want too?

💚 AND ANOTHER BIG THING! People are saying the Minecraft movie is just being made as a "funny lol XD random" thing only for kids, but may I remind you that Minecraft originally started as a game targeted towards children that only became really popular with adults because of YouTubers?

💚 Minecraft wasn't just made for adults or just made for kids! It was made for everyone and anyone to play and enjoy!

💚 One last thing that bugs me about people hating the Minecraft movie is that a lot of people who have Minecraft OCs seem to forget that Minecraft isn't just your lore or what you've made! That's the whole basis of the Minecraft ask blog community! That we all have different Minecraft lore and stories, and that we all love having them interact and intertwine!

💚 In the past, I've received nasty, mean messages because of people saying I have too many Minecraft OCs, for not following some of the Minecraft canon, because a lot of my OCs aren't vanilla or canon Minecraft species. But I've pushed past it, because this is my Minecraft story to write, one that makes me happy, and I shouldn't care that other people are writing their own Minecraft stories that make them happy too.

💚 I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to see the Minecraft movie, no matter how bad people think it looks. No matter how many kids are going to see it too. No matter that Herobrine isn't canon in it. No matter that I have my own Minecraft OCs with their own lore and mechanics in my stories.

💚 I'm going to see the Minecraft movie, because I think it looks fun, and because I know that it's going to be a good story, just like mine, just like all the people I've seen with their own stories.

💚 Minecraft is a storytelling game at its core. Let Mojang tell a story of their own, because this is their game too. 💚
