❝ what, wandering? ❞ already, she is examining the girl, taking a mental note of what she can gather just by looking at her. she is always doing it whenever meeting someone new ----- looking for a way to use them, or rather, looking for a way to prove her own worth if it benefits her to do so. she’s from the sky, that much she knows for sure, and that’s both comforting and worrisome all at once. the former, because it means the prejudice from the ground may not be engrained in her mind ( perhaps the other won’t look at emori and only see A FLAW IN THE CODE. perhaps she will see her as a person instead. ) but strangers are never entirely comforting to her, regardless of where they’re from. she’s on guard, because she knows she has to be. ❝ what were you hoping to find? someone to take you in? wouldn’t count on it. clans don’t usually take in strays. ❞ she would know. ❝ you’re from the sky. yet you are alone.
