“Oi, Rufus! Don’t just stand there, dickwad--pass me the ball!” Sabrina jumped up and down, waved her arms, and kicked her feet. But still, her teammate did not seem to notice her. Instead, he scored on his own.
Sabrina growled before running over to him and smacking him upside the head. “What the hell, Rufie? Didn’t you hear me?”
Rufus nodded.
“Then why didn’t you pass me the ball?” Sabrina asked, her hands thrown in the air in exasperation. “I thought we were friends, dude!”
Rufus shook his head.
Angrily, Sabrina picked up the soccer ball. Then, she chucked it at Rufus’s head. But he ducked, and the ball went soaring over him. It landed smack-dab on some poor girl’s face.
Sabrina hurried over to the girl. “Oh my Christ!” she said quite loudly. “I’m so fuckin’ sorry, like, Jesus! It’s all Rufus’s fault, though--he shouldn’t’ve been a pansy! But, uh... still. I’m really sorry, okay?”
