What are they really? Were they meant to cause fear and sadness within ones heart? Or are they meant to bring eternal happiness? At the moment, Vincent had only learned the pain of love, and what it does to people when you lose it.
And yet, here he was giving into the emotion with this woman. She had seemed to have done something to him, and it had caused him to not get enough of her presence. why would she love monsters like himself? Why would she want to even interact with one? Who knows. All he thought about that was that she was insane.
He was hungry for her taste as he gazed upon her, his hands gently being placed upon her face. Such soft, delicate skin she had… it was nice to touch. His heart started pounding faster as fear started to run through him. Should he really be doing this- no. He needs to move forward!
After a few moments of his eyes gazing into hers, he leaned forwards, planting a kiss upon her soft lips. They tasted so nice, so nice that he wanted more.
Her heart beat with more force than necessary against her chest, the erratic rhythm resonating through her fingertips, clutched onto the soft material of his adornment. This was quite unlikely of the man before her. His gloved appendages cradling her face within his grasp, crimson hues gazing upon her hungrily. She was unused to such actions, such looks of passion upon her form --still blind in her naiveté, it seemed.
Still, she found herself melting into the gentle touch despite the whisper of a question forming.
“Vincent --?”
Absolutely, she is sure that he can hear each palpitation with such ferocity as his lips press against her own, fear of the unknown between the two of them controlling the life-giving organ, continuously clenching and unclenching –the only internal manifestation of the emotion.
Yet, she only pulls him closer, amethyst eyes closing to revel in this newfound intimacy that he’s brought forth and thinking no more of the questions that were no doubt to come forth once reality would make itself known once again.
