I'm attempting a stem poem like that of Lawrence Ferlinghetti's 'I Am Waiting' for a class, but I'm so stuck it's not even funny.
I ache for the perfect storm to cleanse the earth; let her start fresh I ache for a world of respect for life inside and outside the womb Where we are our own censors I ache for no heartache All disguises are dropped- inner peace is achieved I ache for honesty to take its place as King Love flowing freely as music; no on is forgotten Heaven on earth, true Bliss
