Have you ever felt a rumble

When you hear the numbers

The fear you feel hurting your brain.

The numbness when you hear the calculus.

The goosebumps when we see the math

Is that normal,or is it me?

Or the sudden snooze when it comes

The sweet lull when the teacher lulls

The lulluby of numbers

And when I hear math, only one thing

Sleep and doze,it's a mixture of both

And the awkward swaying

And head dancing which then leads

To the drooling that catches her eye

And now you become a shame

A figure standing out

Dozing again

Inside, the books flies and words scatter

Outside it's just you and your shadow

Oh...what a wonderful day will it be.

A Feud to Carry Vol. 2, 2.20.24 “X Equals”

There will come a morning When the equation will be equal When the solution to X will be satisfied There will come a time that I will be enough When there is rust in my veins Rose colored pin pricks How do I fit into this equation? Am I just one of many X’s The night cannot last forever No matter seeming the solitude Is there success in this solution? Seeming to an X+Y equals How do these terms and variables vary Leaving me shaken, ill-slept, awaken and wary Morning comes with clarity Will I fulfill that X equation with certainty The sun may not rise and give me light This too, I must do myself With flinted steel in lanterns oiled Within the night I will find myself again The moon, whose mirrored light absolves me To that proof will stand to reason Reason stand to proof that I, not X Will be enough, irregular and imaginary Not that I mind being something unusual That enough is both grand and small

"The Meaning of Zero: A Love Poem”

(Amy Uyematsu) '—Is where space ends called death or infinity?' [Pablo Neruda, The Book of Questions] A mere eyelid’s distance between you and me. It took us a long time to discover the number zero. John’s brother is afraid to go outside. He claims he knows the meaning of zero. I want to kiss you. A mathematician once told me you can add infinity to infinity. There is a zero vector, which starts and ends at the same place, its force and movement impossible to record with rays or maps or words. It intersects yet runs parallel with all others. A young man I know wants me to prove the zero vector exists. I tell him I can't, but nothing in my world makes sense without it.
