In this present, we humans are living in modern technology such as Television, personal computers, and so on. Many of us have already adapted and many use it whether young or old. It is also used in school studies such as research and online teaching and so on. What is digital divide? And what simple steps can you do to bridge the gap of this digital divide? In these days due to treat of Covid-19, students and teachers facing a hard time experience in e-learning activity, and they are using their gadgets to study and learn in online class, and there are some students that used their old-fashion gadgets for learning because their parents can’t afford to buy a new gadget such as laptop, which may be a disadvantage to them, such as it may suddenly lag their gadgets because it’s an old model. And those students that can afford such modern gadgets are advantageous because unlike the students that can’t afford modern gadgets, they can easily access information. This shows that there is a gap that made a big issue in schools. The simple steps that can we do to bridge the gap of this digital divide is to divide the rich and poor people, the rich students they should apply the e-learning activity, because they have enough money to afford modern gadgets such as laptop, personal computer and internet to access in e-learning. And those students who can’t afford such internet connection, they should apply the modules so that they don’t have to worry about the internet connection or data.
