MHA Vigilantes anime is going to try and convince people that Chizome's hero killer ideals and convictions suddenly started because he lost a fight with a vigilante.

Horikoshi's MHA series specifies that he would have already been killing heroes by the time Vigilantes takes place which is only 5 years before the main series. Chizome would have been 26 or 27 during the fight with Knuckleduster.

MHA Vigilantes is a spin-off series written by Furuhashi Hideyuki not Horikoshi. Not everything in the spin-off series should be accepted as canon. Please exercise some critical thinking while watching the show.
