stephanie didn't feel bad about calling jackson avery dumb. because he was. not when it was most important, sure, but his decision making and taste were questionable at best. regardless, she felt a little sorry for him. maybe even a little bit of compassion. she wasn't going to apologise because she'd been right — but she would say something. she stopped him in the hall by abruptly stepping in front of him. "hey." she looked up, "are you... o-kay?" she asked. "in general. and with all the... things. are you okay?"
