We are very pleased to announce that the winner of the Lucien’s Library Write-A-Post competition is STEPHANIELIKESYOU. A very close second place was hyperbeeb, with charlotteinherlunarpark and ctfo finishing in the top four. All the entries were great fun to read, and there’s some really good material that we’re having to miss out on in order to pick just one winner. We’ll be posting the winning entry tomorrow, and we’ll be getting in contact with Stephanie very soon. She’ll get to pick any one of the shirts from this collection. And we’ll be sending it out to her, free of charge.
Thanks again for all the awesome entries that were submitted. It’s great for us to see you guys getting involved with the blog - makes us all warm and fuzzy. It also means I don’t have to write an entry for a day, which is even better. I’d buy someone a shirt for that.
We’ll return you to your regularly scheduled broadcasting now - we leave you with this thought from Paul Levitz. The great fire at the Library of Alexandria is said to have destroyed 400,000 scrolls. We have no record of how many of them contained unique information. The fact that myths survived at all is an indicator of their power and their resonance with our fundamental human need to understand our world. Cheers, folks.
