I wouldn't give him the time of day,

if he asked me,

but I'd always give him my time.

I wouldn't take his help,

if I needed it,

but I'd take his hand in mine.

I wouldn't laugh at his jokes,

though they're funny,

but his laughter makes me feel safe.

I wouldn't tell him i care,

though I want to,

but if he told me? I would cave.

Canines grow to make a predator,

not a killer.

An adrenaline-spiked reflex.

Magic-made.

He didn't ask to be this,

to be born Were.

A freak of mutilated nature.

Magic-made.

Storm the city of Fragility…

Ravage that pale absurdity…

To know want and to in turn be wanted…

Not things for a monster.

No.

No warmth.

No shelter.

No smile.

Magic-made.

No soft bones to stop from breaking.

No too-fine porcelain to save from smashing.

No love rendered or love shown.

Not things for a monster.

There's none of him for you.

Don't bare your teeth as Protector.

Don't howl your damaged love.

Don't because no one wants to hear it, Wolf.
