Muntz used to go for the exposed top when you put cartridges into their machines.
Muntz produced a lot of "firsts", including TVs. It's not clear how you would mount this in your car exactly, but at $40 you could listen to Herman's Hermits in your motor. They refered to Stereo-Pak as part of their marketing.
