its finally here..

My last day of work this week.. Steven’s flying up on Thursday one last time, solo... and he’s coming to the tour at Stanford’s Children’s Hospital with me on Friday! I cant believe we are almost done building the hospital extension! When I first started working on this project, i was like.. man this sucks. we’re building a hospital for kids to die in. but now, to me, its a place of healing... its a place to receive news, good or bad. And we are making it as easy as possible in a place of peace for those receiving the news. 

On sunday... we are finally driving down to SoCal together. I cant wait to be close to you from now on :’)

in 3 weeks, we’ll be on our way to our “Wet Burrito” trip. And in a month and half, we’ll be on our way to Alaska for 11 days with your family. I cant wait. I just... cant... wait.  :’ )

Trip L! Got my car windows tinted! We now can have #MickeyBap! Tried out the recommended Bronco Bills for their delicious pizza and burger sandwich. It was AMAZING! Thanks Joe (owner of Tint World) for the awesome recommendation. We also went to Target together for the first time and we put together outfits for each other :) thanks for helping me slowly build a SoCal closet haha. I love the shorts with crochet lace you picked out and the gray crop top. And the flannel ;) I can tell they’ll be well loved haha by you I mean ;) We also had dinner with my lovely discipler and her family for the first time and I can’t thank you enough for being so receptive and hearing wise things they have to say.  ALSO HAD CLANCYS ICE CREAM FOR THE FIRST TIME. i’m so proud of you for getting your own ice cream scoop, mister “i dont like desserts” HEHEHE

 God, we are so lucky and so undeserving. As something Steven and I discussed, was that You do indeed play favorites and You called us to Your adopted family. We live an unfair life because You called us to be Your children. I praise you for being the center of our relationship and revealing truths to us each day. I’m so excited to “do” life and walk along side my best friend everyday. Thank you for uncovering him to me. What privilege it is to call you Abba, Lord, our King. 

 Bye Steven! See you in 4 days for Rob and Perrie’s birthday and Scott’s birthday next week! :) We’re getting so spoiled… seeing each other every single weekend now. Thank you Southwest for sponsoring our relationship. Lol

TRIP K our first road trip of many!  Thanks for picking me up at the airport so early just so we can have MCIYP time and also driving up 5 hours to mammoth :) BRR!! I’m still shivering thinking about how cold it was <3 The endless riddles and jokes in the condo and many trips to garage putting on cables and jumping your car was just the beginning of many memories with you. Toomey’s is the best burger place ever! WE HAVE TO GO BACK BABE.

Thanks for housing me for a day before flying back up :) You’re absolutely adorable for always appearing beside me when i’m working and even last time when you followed me to the bathroom “omg i’m following you everywhere you go!” hehehe. I love how inseparable we have become. 58 more days until Im down in socal with you. I cant wait to move down. Thanks for encouraging me with your experience in transitioning out of a church. I need all the help in the world :( with God guiding me and you walking along side me, I feel like I can do anything. I know we had a challenging talk yesterday but I want to thank you again for pursuing my heart instead of appeasing me and giving into my immediate happiness. I know talks like that are difficult, but i’m glad they are with you and not anyone else. <3

Thank you for always being the first one to apologize and remind me of how much you love me and want to pursue me. But please know that it's not that I'm unwilling to admit my wrongs when you apologize first and even though it might take a minute for me to apologize, I want to thank you for being gracious, forgiving, understanding, and never ceasing to work things out. I love you :) you always encourage me by bringing it back to Christ. He came to the world to deliver us sinners from evil when we don't deserve it and he forgives and turns a cheek. Thanks for never letting your pride keep you from turning that cheek. I have a lot to learn from you when you live your life to be Christ-like. You're my best friend. Thank you for your tears, thank you for being vulnerable and I'm so grateful we can share moments like these together. 101 more days until I'm forever by my best friends side.
