True to his word in the group chat, Seokhyun has immediately started searching for clues that might help him in his task to find the owner (or relative) of the magical artefact he purchased a week ago. He is wearing the golden ring on his left forefinger, the rubies embedded in the band glittering in the dimming light of the sunset. And yet, Seokhyun can’t find it in himself to care much about the simple beauty of it - not when his abilities showed him glimpses of its history that touched him deeply. It is also the reason why he insists on returning the ring to the owner, because he is aware how important this piece of jewelry is.
Seokhyun can be incredibly stubborn if he wants to be.
... though it doesn’t explain how he ended up in a maze of some narrow alleyways.
The sun has already made room for the moon and evening sky. Just his luck, it seems; he knows how dangerous these places can get if he isn’t careful. His eyes flicker around, trying to at least find out where his legs have led him while he was lost in his own thoughts. As long as he doesn’t accidentally trespass into any territories, he should be fine - but Seokhyun has never been the type to be able to memorize whose territory is where. (So much for him being a responsible witch, hah.)
Well, seems as if his best option is to try to find a way out of this maze then. He turns around, deciding to head back the way he must have come from (at least trying to), though instead, he finds himself tripping over his own feet rather ungracefully. Seconds later, he is almost kissing the ground against his will with pain shooting up his knees and hands.
Can the day get worse?
