Brutal Massacre: A Comedy will be released on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack on August 11 via Mena Films. The Dude Designs designed the new cover art for the 2007 mockumentary, which will also be on the limited edition slipcover.

Described as This Is Spinal Tape for horror fans, the film is written and directed by Stevan Mena (Malevolence, Bereavement). Its ensemble cast includes David Naughton, Ken Foree, Gunnar Hansen, Brian O'Halloran, Gerry Bednob, Ellen Sandweiss, Betsy Baker, Theresa Tilly, Happy Anderson, and Mick Garris.

Harry Penderecki, a once heralded horror auteur, finds himself on the outside looking in at Hollywood. He hasn't had a hit film in years, and most in the industry, including his close friends, think he's washed up. Harry is given one last chance to redeem himself with what could be his best or last picture. Brutal Massacre becomes just that, as the cast and crew find themselves battling one mishap after another as Harry struggles to keep his sanity against overwhelming resistance to finish the picture and finds himself at the top once again.

Broke Horror Fan presents Brutal Massacre: A Comedy on limited edition, fully functional VHS! The latest genre film to join our retro home video line is available now from Witter Entertainment.

The 2007 horror-comedy mockumentary is written and directed by Stevan Mena (Bereavement). David Naughton (An American Werewolf in London), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead), Gunnar Hansen (The Texas Chain Saw Massacre), Brian O'Halloran (Clerks), Gerry Bednob (The 40-Year-Old Virgin), and Ellen Sandweiss (The Evil Dead) star.

Brutal Massacre arrives on VHS in a black clamshell case and is limited to 50 units. Each tape includes exclusive introductions by Brian O'Halloran and Gerry Bednob, a letter from Stevan Mena, plus a making-of featurette after the movie.

For optimal VHS viewing, the film has been cropped from its original aspect ratio to 4:3 full frame. It is officially licensed and has been approved by writer-director Stevan Mena.
