"When’s the last time you’ve seen your girl?”

Steve briefly looked up to see Matt sauntering up next to him. “Honestly, a few weeks now. But she knows I’m in high demand,” Steve said as he added a few packets of sugar to his cup of joe.

Matt chuckled as he downed the last of his coffee. “More like my demand.”

Steve shrugged. “Same thing.”

“She know what you really do yet?”

“I think she’s got an idea but I like to make it up to her several times. Plus a couple of nice dinners.”

Matt let out a laugh as he slapped Steve’s back good-naturedly. “Good man. And if you don’t marry her, I will.”

Steve shook his head as he picked up his coffee. “That’s just the thing, if I ever do mess up, she probably would.”
