Steve Goodが2021年から2024年にかけて発表した3つのアルバムをCD化したコレクションが”Form”です。

‘Something That Never Existed’はフェスティバルThe Labyrinth 2019への出演やミックスシリーズPatterns Of Perceptionに提供した音源を経て、明朗で甘美な雰囲気を漂わせています。

‘Waveforms’は前作を成熟させた緻密さと物語性も感じられます。聴き込むごとに表情を変える奥深さが楽しめるでしょう。

音の一つ一つの輪郭や響きが丹念に紡がれた‘Arise, Decay, Sustain, Release’は、彼の求める音像が禅的であることを示しています。

3作品を通じてSteve Goodが表現するアンビエントの澄み渡った音風景をお楽しみください。

Steve Good　スティーブ・グッド イギリス・ウェールズ出身、北海道・釧路在住のアーティスト／サウンド・エンジニア。 90年代にトランス・シーンにおいてDouble Dragon名義で活躍し、Mixmaster MorrisやSystem ７からも支持されたチルアウト〜ダウンテンポ・プロジェクト、Puff Dragonとしても2005年にアルバムを発表。 サウンド・エンジニアとしては野外フェスティバルThe Labyrinthの群馬県川場時代から携わり、新潟県苗場で驚異的で完璧なサウンドと評される水準を築くことに貢献している。 Steve Good名義では、The Labyrinthのオーガナイザー、Mindgamesが東日本大震災チャリティーのために制作したコンピレーション『Composure - Ambient Techno For Japan』に参加。 2017年にはアルバム『間 = Ma』をデジタル・リリース。2018年11月にデジタル版『Everything's Inside Everything Else』を完成させ、CD版が2019年4月に新設レーベル、Staticsoulから発売となる。

After iM@S introduced me to Fujita Maiko, I went looking for more of her songs, and soon I was looping this one for (not exaggerating) 3 hours straight. Japanese-style ballads are my lifeblood.

Notes: ・The rainy season in Japan comes before summer, and fireflies appear in early summer; in this song, there’s some overlap. ・ Where English-speaking countries say “ready or not, here I come!” when playing hide-and-seek, in Japan there’s an exchange consisting of “are you ready?” and either “not yet!” or “I’m ready!”.
