I just reblogged a post about Steve being lawful good re: character alignment because he prioritizes what is right above what is socially sanctioned/even lawful. Steve Rogers is a living martyr–both in what life has done to him and what he does with his life.
I love him SO much and the way he’s the type to be grim and stern-jawed in the face of opposition and the type to be kind and earnest in the face of immeasurable pain.
