Formé en 2011 par Vlad Holiday, ancien guitariste de Jet Lag Gemini, Born Cages fût d’abord connu sous le nom de "Electric Sun". Il est composé de Vlad Holiday au chant, et à la guitare, Amanda Carl au clavier et aux chœurs, Steve Kellner, à la basse et aux chœurs et de Dave Tantao à la batterie. Le groupe avait sorti sous leur premier nom un EP intitulé "The Gilded Cage"et sortira cet été un nouvel album!
