I miss the BBC as much as my dog

Anyone who reckons the BBC needs to sack off for itself needs to move out to a place where you can’t access the BBC cos I miss it like kerazzzyyy.  I miss knowing whats going on in the world, I miss the bippbipp theme tune of the ten o clock news, I miss Steve Lamaqs dulcet tones, I miss the generally unbiased way of news reporting, I miss the inclusivity of the programmes, I miss being able to chuck on the TV and have a variety of not-shit TV.  You don’t know what shit TV is until you see a thirty minute programme made of a bunch of people making choreography to thirty seconds of a variety of Taylor Swift songs.  I miss seeing ‘Bexleyheath’ pop up on the news bulletins.  I miss Huw Edwards, I miss ‘edgy’ documentaries (with a girl who quite frankly I can’t stand but I stick about for the story), I miss Live Lounge, I miss Radio 6 sessions, I miss the one show, I miss pointless. 

There is a lot more, but it’s 7am in Hanoi and my coffee hasn’t kicked in.  Suffice to say I really really hope the BBC sticks about and attitudes towards it change because life without it sucks.
