The final album by Lynyryd Skynyrd.
This is the original 1977 pressing of this album.
It was issued with a picture of the band on the front cover engulfed in flames. Three days after the release of this album, the chartered plane carrying Lynyrd Skynyrd crashed near Gillsburg, Mississippi en route to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This plane crash killed the pilot, co-pilot, three members of the band (singer, Ronnie Van Zant, guitarist, Steve Gaines and back-up singer, Cassie Gaines) and their assistant road manager.
After the plane crash, the widows of the band members requested that the cover be changed and MCA Records agreed to reissue the album with a new cover.
For the new cover, they just moved the picture of the band on the back cover to the front.
