Bucky won’t admit he’s jealous
Just a little something I’m working on:
“Peggy wants to see the Statue of Liberty, so I’m going to go with her. Other than that I’m not sure.” “Why can’t Natasha go with her?” asked Bucky with slight irritation in his voice. “I don’t know Buck. She asked me if I’d go with her and I said yeah.” “That’s all you ever do these days.” “What’s that supposed to mean?” asked Steve, putting his books down and giving Bucky his full attention. “It means you’ve turned into a yes man. Peggy asks and you say yes right away. You don’t even think about your other friends anymore. We never see you or spend time with you as much as we used to.” “I’m not a yes man. I like Peggy she likes me and we like spending time together. That’s kind of how dating works, I would like to think that you of all people would know that. For once in my life a girl sees me and I’m not standing in your shadow. I thought you would be happy for me, but you’re standing here complaining that we don’t spend enough time together anymore. Really?!” “I’m not complaining! All I’m saying is remember who your real friends are. Remember who was here before she came and who’s still gonna be here after she leaves you hanging!” “Oh! So because I’m not the infamous Bucky Barnes she’s just gonna lose interest in me, is that it?! Because I don’t have movie star good looks and the charisma to charm the panties off a nun, then I’m no good huh? Everyone else is happy for me! Sam, Thor, hell even Loki thinks we’re good together and you just can’t seem to stand it. Why?!” “I don’t know what you’re talking about!” “Like hell you don’t! Answer me!”
