. . This past weekend, we were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of friend of KWF @steve_of_clan_kirk . . We mourn his loss alongside our friends at @sdsabers . . We were introduced to Steve when he invited himself to one of our board meetings, told us he was organizing a new fan convention in San Diego, and pledged to donate a portion of the proceeds to us at the Foundation. He was that kind of a guy. . His leadership, dedication to fandom, and just plain joy to be around will be sincerely missed everyone in the Star Wars fan community and beyond. .
