I am truly grateful for the experience of meeting To Write Love On Her Arms. founder Jamie Tworkowski tonight. The group he founded for his friend in 2006 has helped so many people who have struggled with addiction, self injury, depression and suicide.I am especially thankful because as someone who has struggled with self injury, depression and anxiety for several years it's become like my second family. Supportive, new opportunities, and above all HOPE. This non-profit organization, and the stories behind it have truly reminded me of why I'm here and why my story matters. I am thankful to have met him and his lovely friend and artist Steven McMorran from Satellite. I know I annoy him a lot, but it's out of love. He's done wonders for people. Including me. He's one of my favorites and I couldn't thank him more. All of his songs that he's wrote speak to me in ways no one else can. And these are two of my favorite things he's ever said to me. I don't think he realizes how much I need him sometimes. He gives me a lot of support even if he doesn't know he does.

This week..

3/26 Steven will be singing some songs at the University of Louisville at a TWLOHA event.. doors are at 6:30 and the event is free and open to the public.

3/29 Steven will be singing some songs at the Rutledge in Nashville. It starts at 9:30 and costs $15.

There's a possibility Steven will be playing some new songs. Go enjoy some great music and say hi to Steven if you can :).
