Essentially, it’s about the aftermath of a zombie attack (but like the zombies are barely even a part of it so don’t roll your eyes and think it’s some kind of TWD rip-off) and a cure’s been found that makes the people sentient again and they’re sent back to their homes but they all face mass discrimination.
There’s like nine episodes and the first series is only three episodes long so you can easily do it. Like I said, it’s not even really about zombies, it’s an allegory for the harsh limitations of society and it explores big themes like the importance of family and finding yourself.
AND IT IS JUST SO WELL WRITTEN AND THOUGHTFUL AND THE CHARACTERS ARE AMONGST THE MOST TANGIBLE AND WELL-DEVELOPED YOU COULD EVER HOPE TO ENCOUNTER
AND LUKE NEWBERRY MAKES THE BEST PROTAGONIST EVER BECAUSE HE’S SUCH A DARLING AND NO ONE EVER ACTS LIKE HIS SEXUALITY IS ANYTHING LESS THAN A-OK AND IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHO LUKE NEWBERRY IS, HE WAS THAT POLICEMAN IN A SCANDAL OF BELGRAVIA THAT EVERYONE WAS GOING NUTS OVER

she built this story to its conclusion for a decade. she was 41 and years into her second marriage when the last book was published. she elaborately defended her choices and implicitly agreed when it was suggested that it was delusional to believe it was gonna be anything other than ron and hermione being in love. but she regrets it now! of course she no longer needs any of the fans. oh and guess what, emma also regrets it! even though she was the biggest fangirl of ron/hermione during the entire run of the films!
