The Real Diamonds Theory Part 1

Hello everyone, I’m TheRobloxGodfather and as you all know I’m known for complaining about the current plot of Steven Universe and how the Diamonds and Jasper were handled. But what if I told you that the current world of Steven Universe that Steven and the Crystal Gems live in is another reality? What if I told you the Diamonds we know today aren’t the real diamonds? What if I told you the Crystal Gems got their memories erased in the time between Three Gems and a Baby and Steven’s Dream? I know what you’re all thinking. “Oh you’re only saying that because the show didn’t turn out how you wanted it to!” “You’re just mad you didn’t get your way.” “This is impossible and makes no sense.” Well, there are many reasons this could be possible. This is a “Theorizer-Level” theory after all. There is evidence so let’s dig in. The Diamonds are what is going to be discussed in this theory as I stated in my Reddit post that the only way to fix the show was to reveal that the real diamonds erased the memories of the Crystal Gems.

So first things first, the murals. Yes I’m aware that they didn’t know what the diamonds would look like at the time. However in the world of Steven Universe this would be the only possible explanation. Anyways back to the murals. Yellow Diamond is the only one accurate to her mural except for the shoulder pads not being there. The explanation for that is the gems who were making her mural made a mistake. Anyways let’s talk about Blue Diamond’s mural. In the mural, she has dark hair and a one strap blue dress with multiple shades of different blues. In the show, Blue Diamond looks nothing like her mural. While you could argue that she looked like that in Era 1 and poofed of sadness when learning about Pink getting “shattered”, it’s been shown in flashbacks that she looked exactly the same in Era 1 as she looks today. There is no given explanation for that. You can’t be this inconsistent when it comes to introducing the villains of a show. You can’t give the audience the wrong idea. Next up is White Diamond’s mural. Fans can argue that White is the most accurate when it comes to the murals but her gemstone is inaccurate and so are her shoulder pads. As we all know, White Diamond likes everything perfect so obviously the mural should’ve looked as accurate as possible but it wasn’t. Her gem was inaccurate to her mural. Gems wouldn’t make a huge mistake like that when it came to creating a mural of their great and powerful leader. They also wouldn’t do a completely inaccurate mural of Blue and Pink as well. So onto Pink Diamond’s mural. It looks nothing like her at all. Her hair is inaccurate to the mural in both shape and color. Also her gem is inaccurate to her mural. Again the gems making the mural couldn’t have been that stupid.

Anyways two episodes before It Could’ve Been Great, Blue Diamond was shown in a flashback. This episode was The Answer. Her gem cut was completely different from her actual one in present day. No explanation is ever given for this. You don’t just drastically change a characters gem cut without any given explanation. That is something writes need to be consistent about especially when it comes to big characters like the Diamonds. Also fans figured out her day palette based on her appearance from The Answer and the cloak in that palette is a completely different color than what we see in the show. It’s a bright blue instead of a dark blue. Now let’s talk about Yellow Diamond’s appearance. In the episode, That Will Be All, she started wearing this tailcoat and then switched back to her dress coat in the Trial and then after that she wore her tailcoat permanently. No explanation is ever given. Isn’t that strange? This is all very strange when you think about it. It’s all very odd. There’s no explanation given for any of this. Well, I have one.

What if I told you the diamonds in the murals and the diamonds we see in Message Received and The Answer are the real diamonds and we’ve been dealing with fakes all along? What if Rose isn’t Pink Diamond? I know this sounds crazy but hear me out. For this theory I’ll refer to those diamonds as the real diamonds. So here’s where things get interesting. Here’s my take on things. After Three Gems and a Baby, Real Yellow Diamond started getting suspicious that the Ruby Squad wasn’t getting back to her on what happened to Jasper. Also who’s to say that Jasper wasn’t redeemed and uncorrupted at this time as well? Anyways Real Yellow Diamond sends high ranking gems to Earth to investigate and they end up telling her the Crystal Gems are alive. She goes to Earth herself and loses in a battle against them and gets poofed and bubbled. Real White Diamond gets word from Real Blue Diamond that she hasn’t heard from Real Yellow Diamond in a while and fills her in on what she’s been doing. Real Blue Diamond goes to Earth herself with an army and finds the Crystal Gems. They raid the Crystal Temple and get Real Yellow Diamond’s gemstone and they unbubble her while Real Blue Diamond fights the Crystal Gems and starts to lose. Real Yellow Diamond and Real Blue Diamond leave Earth and go to Real Homeworld to inform Real White Diamond what’s happening. The three real diamonds arrive on Earth for the final battle and fuse into Light Green Diamond. The Crystal Gems lose the final battle. Light Green Diamond decides it would be fitting for them to lose their memories and for their memories to be changed and for them to be sent to another reality. The diamond fusion uses her powers to erase and change their memories. The creators of the real diamonds arrive from having been contacted by Real White Diamond for help. They use their technology to send them to an alternate reality and the Real Diamonds win. Everyone gets sent to that reality and Jasper becomes corrupted again and rebubbled and sent to that reality. Real Earth gets destroyed by Real Cluster and the Real Diamonds continue ruling Real Homeworld. Pretty unlikely that this will actually be revealed or that this actually happened but it’s just a complex theorizer-level theory. A GEM THEORIZER-LEVEL THEORY!
