I can draw whatever I want (this apply too to my other shipps, like Tomco). I’m fucking tired of everyone telling to us what we can like or not. Please LET US BE. There’s a lot of shipps that I don’t like, but that doesn’t mean I gonna be around on a profile and make uncomfortable to this person because I don’t like whatever he/she/they/them draw.

I take it back. A couple of us mentioned shipping Lars and Steven on YouTube and they started calling him a pedophile, or bitching he was 18.
God, you just can’t please these people. We ship Steven with a gem, they attack the ship and us. Ship him with another human close to his age (but a little older)? Same thing. And this is a gay relationship too, something this godforsaken fandom likes. Seriously.
Gee, I’m sorry if I find any other character dynamic between Steven and some other character that isn’t Connie far more interesting. Connie’s dynamic with Steven, and their interactions, just bore me to tears. It’s why I don’t ship them. Well, part of the reason.
The fluff with Lars and Steven is amazing and makes for awesome fics, like this one. (That is the only romantic one out there, as far as I’ve seen.) Their friendship/brotherliness is also something cool to explore, in platonic stories.
I swear though, every ship I’ve crack-shipped has come full circle. First Stevidot, now Stars. I ship whatever I think is cute and if their interactions on screen make me smile like a goofball. I also have to like the characters to do so, which means Connie is out of here.

Hmmm, maybe because:
1. He’s a teenager and the main character.
2. I grew up in the 90s and early 2000s and a lot of cartoons/live-action shows had pre-teen and teenage romance in them. Some still do in fact.
3. Watch Hey Arnold, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Danny Phantom, Kim Possible, Jimmy Neutron, ect... Hey Arnold and Jimmy Neutron in particular, which had 9/10/11 year-olds in love with the title character of the same age.
4. I’m a shipper, it’s in my blood.
5. It’s my way of enjoying time outside of going to work, so when I see people attacking things I enjoy it pisses me off.
It’s pretty common in cartoons, so yeah, I rest my case.
