Happy birthday to the wonderfully amazing and magnificent Steve! I haven’t known you very long but in the short time that I have you have been marvelous!  Dearest followers, this guy is [insert adjective that I haven’t used already]. I met him at Asylum 14 as a friend of a friend and Steve is GAH JUST GREAT IDK His art is fucking beautiful (I’m currently looking at two framed pieces of his on my wall right now and I need more) and he’s just the best. Anyway to end my ramblings go wish this lovely guy a very happy birthday! He deserves a thousand hugs. Happy birthday, Steve! ♥

1) i have much more stability while painting my nails than my sister claims to have after practising for a year

2) i like feeling extremely! i like hurting and crying over my fandoms and my ships and music and being ridiculously happy over my friends being happy! it’s certainly better overreacting than feeling nothing. it terrifies me feeling nothing.

3) i like my hair, i like my eyes, i’m starting to like my body little by little and it feels so good.

4) i like that i’m a good swimmer and love stargazing

5) i like that i’m a better person than i used to be. i’ve tried protecting girls from mocking assholes and calling people on their bullshit instead of laughing along, and it just. feels so good. being an asshole for not reason just to follow along is so toxic and ugly, and yes it’s much much better being the ‘feminist killjoy’, however tiring it is. it’s worth it

[holds you close] i’m so sorry you’re going through all that. maybe it’s just a relapse or something that will go away eventually. until then, i find writing down everything that troubles me helps. pamper yourself and cry a lot, it’s good for you. i just hope you feel okay again soon. you really are an awesome person and i wish i could absorb all the sadness and put it somewhere far far away where only lava monsters could find it.

Thanks Steve you’re so kind <3 I think it’s just all the job related stress and frustration and lack of sleep and general shit catching up. Don’t worry I’ll be fine eventually, I’ll just need to take more care of myself until then. I think I should start meditating again and as you said generally pamper myself. Also I don’t think it would be fair to the lava monsters to feel like this (they have feelings too you know ;) )
