Fandom: My Time At Sandrock / My Time at Evershine

Summary: On the eve of the Winter Solstice party, Stev is surprised by Li’s many, Merry presents to him.

Li is nothing if not persistent.

Stev adores that about his partner. So when he finds the mistletoe hanging above the doorway, near the window (for Stev to sneak through on those clandestine nights where he misses the feeling of holding Li in his arms), on the wall hangers, and almost every surface, fond warmth unfurls in his chest, and his lips curve into a helplessly enamored grin.

“I see you have been redecorating. It is beautiful.” Instead of just the simple red bow, the ribbons Li wrapped the plants with are of varying colors, ornate, and unique. It creates a merry splash of rainbow amidst the soft plushies, bright sunflowers, and soft yellow of their room (which Stev already found to be a bright comfort from the smoggy, gray skies of Duvos.

It’s just like Li themself, a soft ray of sunshine parting through the clouds of his once dreary life.)

Seasonal StevLi stuff

What would Stev do if Li asked him “would you still love me if I was a worm?” 🫡🌻

“I would make you my little worm monarch….”

And then anytime stev comes across a worm he thinks about what Li asked and wonders if it’s them, holding onto them until he gets home to make sure that Li is in fact STILL human and not the worm he picked up that day

Omgnhi!! I’ll go in order…

Fluff headcanons… too many to name. I have literally hundreds of thousands and if I named them all I would rash the site lol.

As for what they do together, they sometimes just enjoy parallel playing which usually consists of Stev reading and Li crafting little handmade trinkets. Other than that they like going on walks silently or just napping. Since both of them are sort of introverted it’s a nice thing to help their social batteries not drain super fast.

The sunflowers is sort of silly but… basically a sunflower will always face the direction of the sun as it grows. The sun is its source of energy and to look at it is to be healthy and happy… so they’re like… each other’s sun if they were sun flowers. Plus the whole sandrock and duvos environments contradicting each other and then the way that Li found comfort in stevs kindness during a dark time.

Actually, they got rid of Stevs uniform. It’s kind of a dark thing to remember for him and for stevs sake they just got rid of anything from duvos he might own that isn’t personally important from family or friends back home.

As for the house… no idea… hehe. I’ll have to play and see! But so far the headcanon is just a cute homey little cottage with lots of plants and colorful decorations
