I did some new reference drawing for my Clearing Bad Weather trio! Hope you enjoy!

Bolt! The last of the Components that I designed! After Electra and Purse started their racing journey together, Bolt was the first of the group to be hired by the two since he is the battery truck. Being able to store so much energy inside him at once, allowed them to refuel when needed, travel further and able to hire more to their team down the line.

It wasn't easy though to convince him to join the two at first, all Bolt wanted to do was race nonstop believing others would just slow him down. Once he found out Electra was gonna be a racer and he might be able to race with them, you couldn't keep him away from them. Now he is loyal to them and the group like an over excited dog, which kinda fits since he is both loud and overly energetic.

However, despite him being a battery truck, this idiot doesn't know when to stop refueling or when to refuel. It's either too much energy at once, or he runs himself ragged, sometimes he does over heat to which the group reacts quite fittingly to the situation considering how many times he does this. To which, he always gets the same talk about being more careful since none of them can afford to lose him.

Clearing Bad Weather!

Aka: The Yellow Trio

I decided to make some new Starlight Express ocs! Here is the intro post for them that I’ve been working on (Almost all of the info of the characters will be under a cut later on lol.)

They were all manufactured to be a very high-tech (but mostly very expensive) looking train made specifically for pushing snow but also dirt off of the tracks. Although they are expensive, the company rushed them and so they all have some defects.

Note: Clank and Bolt are gay married and Waspy is their child. They assume everyone knows about it already so they never mentions it to anyone.

(These ocs has been hiding in my drafts since February last year so the art is a bit more rough than my recent art)

Clank:

Clank is a snow dozer and was made at the same time and specifically made for Bolt. The company realized that they could cut some corners so his visors are his eyes so if you remove it you would find that under the visor is just a bunch of wires and direct accesses to his inner workings. The company said to him that it was “so that we can easy fix you if you get snow in your eyes” but he knows better. Clank is head strong guy who’s into extreme sports and loves to face his problems head of but most of the time he has to keep an eye on Waspy to ensure that she doesn’t get into trouble.

Bolt:

Bolt is an electric engine who is in charge of pushing Clank while looking fashionable. The company didn’t realize until they finished him but when the made it that Bolt can push all the snow they made brakes too small and now when they try to add regular size brakes, it shrink almost magically into the smaller size. Due to that he can’t brake enough for both him and his husband so that’s why they requested for a caboose. Bolt is the logical one of the three and is usually the one who finds the (often easiest) solution to the problem they’re in. He is the more motherly to Waspy but he’s so busy with the responsibility of being a megawatt that Bolt doesn’t spend as much time with his kid as Clank does.

Waspy:

Waspy is an electric caboose and she was made after Clank and Bolt requested for one due to the electric train’s brake issue. On a day where there was no employee in the factory when Waspy was close to being able to be sent out, wasps decided to make a nest in her right on her radio. It took a few days to remove it so got her name of Waspy from it and by the time they removed it, it damaged her radio to the point that she lost almost all her hearing. They didn’t have time and the other two got too attached to her to basically rebuild her so they made headphone like hearing aid with radio antennas so that she can hear loud and clear. Waspy is a chaotic teen who’s very accident prone and she wants to prove to her dads that she can do anything they can, even if she can’t.

Last component, Bolt! For those of you who don't know who he is, Bolt is from Starlight on Ice. Personally, I headcannon him to be a battery truck.
