So, the tarot cards in issue 45: do they correspond to actual Major Arcana? If so, did Sega not allow you to use the arcana, or was the idea to have an original set in the first place?
We decided pretty early on to not have Amy's Fortune Cards be a direct correlation to Tarot, and instead make up our own cartomancy system with symbology and meanings based on the history and culture of Sonic's world. It fits the setting better, and gives us more flexibility in their use. It was my suggestion, and Sega thought it was a good idea.
