Basically how people react to how villains were written in most old issues.
Also great to see the old “Sonic the Hedgehog” logo announced in speech bubbles!

Oh man, remember the extremely evil-looking Dr. Finitivus from #139? Well he's back, and looking as great as ever. He's also the literal cliffhanger of this particular story.
In middle of all these fight scenes, the story actually allows characters to have deeper personalities. And I love it.
Tracy Yardley shows off his impressive art as Scourge begins his reign by beating the crap out of people.
Also look at that! Locke is no longer the over-powered, Jedi echidna that Penders kept making him out to be.
Now THIS is how you do opening exposition. Don't just have walls of text trying to make everything dramatic as fuck, just put a spin on it to make it really stand out.
Bye Blaze.
As impressive as these fight scenes are, a lot of the hedgehog fights do kind of mostly amount to “coloured lines zipping through the air”.
I know long-time artist "Spaz" drew this up, and he’s always a great contribution to the comic, but...what's with the mouths? What's with the eyes??
