There were very few people Ahreum found herself affiliated with. It was her closed off nature mainly that was to blame. Eventually, it took a toll on her social life. However, a person or two will show her that it’s okay to loosen up a bit and abandon the textbooks she so fervently studied. And tonight was one of those nights in which Ahreum, for once, invited someone. For a drink no less.
Cha Hakyeon and Lee Hongbin were two men in her life that made her feel very confused. Mainly because the two stuck together quite well and Hongbin was her...”student”, so to say. It was because of that that they now found themselves hanging out more than usual. Which still left Ahreum feeling quite confused. Were they friends or not? It wasn’t really discussed between them what they really were. And as she dressed herself up (quite plainly, mind you) and walked towards the pub she had agreed to meet Hakyeon, she pondered on the possibility that maybe they weren’t friends at all. Just acquaintances.
Human formalities confused her.
She took a seat by the bar, ordering a glass of water for starters. She wasn’t well versed in alcoholic drinks. She would have to wait for Hakyeon to enlighten her. He did mention a certain drink that was a beautiful golden brown shade. With all her worries finally crashing down on her, it seemed the best choice.
