Today's Walking Photo: The mind reels to visualize the utter wasteland of stickers that brought about the conception and deployment of this solution.
I visited a medical office building where they’re stopping people at the entrance to check their temperatures and ask the standard safety questions; those granted entrance get a sticker. (Want to know the weird part? I didn’t even feel or see the person put the sticker on the front of my jacket – on arriving at my doctor’s front desk I glanced down and actually jumped at the foreign object in my field of vision. It was a lovely moment of awkwardness…par for the course.) Anyway, I can only imagine what every inch of those stairs and the rest of the parking garage looked like for probably weeks until the staff realized they had to come up with something. I love that they realized the best solution was to encourage people to deface a thing. Everyone is gleefully complying! Humans can be trained!
