"Alright, Little Miss Investigator. What's your angle? Are you gonna spill--" Vector starts, looming over the badger-investigator. "Here are all of our files on the case," Sticks replies, flatly handing the crocodile a folder. Vector blinks.

"...That is. Awfully cooperative, badger girl."

"You need anything else?"

"--I. No? Maybe-- Why are you helping us?"

"You will be a liability with or without our cooperation. Plenty of our agents are also incompetent liabilities. We don't have to pay you. It's technically a net positive."

"...You have a backhanded way of being helpful."

"Heard that one before. Want a smoke?"

"I'm. Good. Thanks. ...Ain't your voice scratchy enough alr--"

*Sticks blows smoke in his face for like ten seconds. Vector falls silent.*

"Goodbye, Mr. The Crocodile," Sticks says, turning back to her paperwork.

i regret to inform u but i just watched heated rivalry (with great pain cos I'm not somewhere that's got streaming service with it (i was in advert hell)),,, now all i can think of is long distance sexual tension sticks!ranchers and my brain feels like it's melting

Wouldn't the joke with Amy work better with her saying "15 rings" instead of "15 dollars"? I know that the games sometimes have rings as a kind of currency to buy stuff with...

Rings are awkward and inconvenient for some to carry, not in terms of quantity, but in terms of extracting them from your body (punching yourself repeatedly in the face)

In 1721, Alexander HAMilton (pig guy who got onto duels too much) invented the Dollar Bill, representing a set amount of rings that could be exchanged from a bank. *This party, despite its name, is widely considered to be sharply anti-authoritarian and vaguely center-left leaning, though with other members such as the casino tycoon Breezie being involved, this is debatable. Sonic has been shown to detest being called a libertarian despite, "Clearly being one" as many detractors like noted GUN investigator Sticks the Badger argues.

I wonder how Boom!Sticks would react to meeting your Sticks

confusion. disgust. fear. Hangin Out-Verse!Sticks wants to tiredly tell Boom!Sticks that it's good to be skeptical, but don't expect to be surprised by trying to change things from the inside.

Boom!Sticks would assume this is some kind of reverse-psychology trick, which would condemn her to the same fate as Hangin Out!Sticks. It's for this reason that Investigator Sticks would avoid saying much of anything, maybe just smiling quietly and nodding as Boom!Sticks verbally assaults her for being everything she's against.
