Hello again! Some of you may be wondering...
The REDUX pages, as I've decided to start calling them, are going to give a fresh new coat of paint (and some very light and unimportant retcons to make sure things fit into the established STICKS canon) to older pages of the comic. As you may be able to tell when reading some of the early pages of STICKS, I didn't actually know how to draw when making them. And while I still don't really know how to draw now, I can at least do it a little better than before. The first batch of REDUX pages will be pages 1-10, and other batches will continue until about page 42. Here's a little sneakle peakle of the first batch of remade pages:
These batches will be released intermittently in the wait for page 100. For those concerned about old pages becoming lost media, not to worry! A separate "Legacy STICKS" MSPFA is going to be set up to allow you to view the old, ugly art of yesteryears in their full, gross, odd-numbered-resolution glory. The separate MSPFA will also include some author's notes and fun tidbits on the bottom for your personal enjoyment.
Next on the docket, you may remember that I teased the release of a STICKS OST. Well, I'm very happy to announce that the release of "STICKS: The Official OST Soundtrack (The Official Original Soundtrack Soundtrack)(TOOSTST)(Vol. 1)" will coincide with the release of page 100! Produced by my exceptionally talented friend assmachine3000, it will contain all of the original music used in the comic thus far, as well as extended mixes of songs, a brand new remix, and a very nice album cover designed by yours truly.
Finally, about page 100. This one page will probably be the largest project I've ever worked on so far, clocking in at about a minute and a half of animation and music (Thank you assmachine3000). To be frank, I have no goddamn clue when it's gonna be done. I've never made anything at this scale and quality before, and combined with school ramping up and other things that crop up every now and then, it's hard to find time to work on it consistently. I've got about 40% of the storyboard already drawn out, and I'm gonna shoot for early-to-mid-2026, but I can't guarantee anything at this point.
