“Why else would I wipe it, man?” the redhead asked, a hint of humor in his tone. “You just had some crumbs beside your mouth.” With that, he was about to continue with his own food, before a question made him pause mid-bite: was it strange for friends to wipe each other’s cheeks like that? He didn’t think much of it, but on the other hand, he definitely wouldn’t have done that with one of their schoolmates, for example. Okay, thinking about it like that made him a little self-conscious. “…Er, sorry. Force of habit. I’m used to wiping food off of my little sisters’ faces.”

Kyehehe, someone as great as me would never make a mistake that foolish. I’m so great, after all.” Forever a stroking his own ego. Looking down at his camera with a shit-eating grin, he waited for the polaroid to come out. “You should feel honored you’re the first person to get their photo taken by The Great Prussia’s new camera! I didn’t even take one of West yet.”

“Oz…” What could have gotten his young master so upset? Has he forgotten something important, amidst his preoccupation with his job? It couldn’t have been something the other asked of him, or else it would have been high up on his priority list. No matter how much he thought about it, his mind was drawing a blank.

Slowly lowering himself down on one knee, he tugged the other’s hands off his sleeves and held them in his own. “I… I can’t understand what’s wrong if you don’t tell me. If it’s something you’ve told me and I’ve forgotten, then I apologize, but I need to know what it was in order to make it right,” he tried to be as gentle as he could with his words, but it still came out a little awkward, unsure how to atone for whatever it is he did to cause his master this distress.

A blink and a bit of hesitation flash across the Dane's face before the easy smile replaces it and he lets out a slight chuckle. It was an interesting question, and one he should rightfully ask. It wasn't unheard of, countries visiting each other, but to visit so unprompted? Nigh unheard of - at least for this poor sod.

Should he tell him it was his brother, Alfred, who'd sold him out to the nord? Perhaps that wasn't the best option.

" A mutal acquaintance of ours let me know. " He responded easily, letting his hand fall from the door frame. His other hand searched his pockets and he pulled out a small box. " I wanted to give you something, for your help the other day with breaking up that fight between Icy and Norge at the meeting. "

Inside, was a small charm bracelet with translucent plastic beads, red and white ones, adorned with charms in the shapes of maple leaves. A thoughtful, albeit on-the-nose gift for the canadian.
