SIZZLE
THE BACON BUBBLED and boiled against the pan, moving around as the handle was given a good shake.
P O P !
THE TARDIS CONSOLE sparked, bright lights spewing from it as Ellanor staggered back against the railing frantically. ❛ Okay-- ❜ She yelled over the blaring alarm, gripping the metal for dear life, ❛ I’m just going to wait for you to explain what a Chameleon Circuit is. Over here...
She doesn’t melt every time that happens, does she? ❜
HER EYES GAZED upon some sort of headset that fell from the top, her brows furrowing.
❛ WHAT’S THAT? ❜
SHE STARED AT a sort of sharp triple ended kitchen tool she had grabbed from below, tossing it back in the drawer. Not what she was looking for. Hm. Cooking with out of date tools was something she had to get the hang of. Her excuse was probably going to be something related to her back story.
A SMILE gracing Ella’s features as she thought about it as she lost herself in the breakfast she was preparing in a rather vintage kitchen. How sweet was that? That the Doctor had posed her as---
❛ COME EAT! SHOP OPENS SOON. ❜
SHE SHOUTED up the steps of a small flat, emptying the bacon off the pan and onto a plate of the rest of the prepared breakfast. No beans. She remembered from the first time they’d met.
THEY WERE BEING targeted. Had to go top secret. So top secret, not even HE could know about it. So he was human. It was really interesting. And a bit scary. A huge responsibility. Luckily he had placed her so close. She sucked in her lips, trying not to chuckle at the name she was about to call out,
❛ DAD? ❜
SHE WAS HIS daughter. In his mind, and now, actually properly his daughter while he was like this. an honour. Bumped her down a few years and dubbed her his daughter. It was really detailed, too. Kind of sad, really. Having to see him so sad didn’t make this very fun. If she was honest. But he was coping. And so was she. It wasn’t easy being stuck here. But she had him. Well, sort of him. It was alright. Surely the TARDIS got lonely, though. Poor girl.
STUCK IN the 1950′s. Living upstairs in the shop they owned, in the middle of starting a new chapter of their life after the FIRE. And it was all up to her. If they were calling each other different names, he might as well call HER the DOCTOR. Saving the day one meal and afternoon tea at a time. Keeping their secret safe and knowledge of the hidden fobwatch.
