I spritzed Hugo Boss cologne on my hand at Ulta today and now I'm walking around the house smelling like Niall Horan. It's glorious.
Taylor is my best friend
You know everyone wants to be all "Taylor needs to get over Harry, stop living in 2012 blah blah blah... " And truth be told when I heard Out Of The Woods was the next single I was apprehensive about it cause I felt Clean or I Know Places makes a better single. (I of course take it all back now) Yes OOTW is INSPIRED by Harry but it's not at the same time. The video specially highlights the survival the aftermath of her being pegged as a slut, serial dater, a bitch etc... By the public and media (which were symbolized by the wolves) It's about finding yourself after feeling that everyone is coming for you. As someone pointed out at the end of the video Taylor finds herself, the part of herself that hadn't gone through hell basically but it was for herself. It's empowering, everyone is so focused on one aspect of the song that it's inspired by Harry that you forget what she went through. Taylor was not the media or public's favorite person and she turned it all around by finding herself, staying true to herself and that's the message you should all be taking from this. You learn a ton of lessons but you always keep true to yourself. It's kinda sad seeing the same people that go on about feminism tearing her down for making the statement: "She lost him but she found herself and some how that was everything." It's easy to get lost in a relationship; be it with your friends, boyfriend even family but never loose sight of yourself and that message is VERY important. That's why I feel like Taylor Swift is my best friend because she constantly reminds me that finding who I want to be is everything.
